Local construction/grading company seeks CDL Class A or B driver to provide efficient and safe hauling and delivery of material/construction equipment to job sites throughout Upstate South Carolina. Position includes competitive pay rates and options for benefits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver and pick up material and construction equipment in a timely and safe manner
- Keep all necessary logs and paperwork daily
- Interact with customers/suppliers on various job sites
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle record.
- Team player with good customer service skills.
- CDL drivers are subject to DOT random drug and alcohol tests.
- Must have reliable transportation to work each day.

We are a local grading company seeking an experienced, highly motivated Foreman to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to OSHA and other regulations as well as company policies.
- Read and interpret engineered plans and stake in field; some knowledge is preferred.
- Familiar with GPS machine controls.
- Communicate production issues and constraints and implement plans to overcome.
- Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored.
- Participate in routine equipment maintenance.
- Practice "Safely, All Day"
- Record fuel, load count and hour logs daily and report to Site Superintendent.
- Complete daily workplace examinations and repair deficiencies.
- Maintain all receipts and turn in weekly.
- Maintain company vehicle to company standards.
- General daily preventative equipment maintenance.
- Keep current tool inventory in maintenance truck/trailer.
- Monitor and maintain onsite fuel tank level and inventory, communicate to management for deliveries.
- Keep the job site clean, prepared for inclement weather and on track.
- Maintain all erosion control devices and report deficiencies.
- Guide and lead the crew in daily activities alongside Site Superintendent.
Skills and Knowledge Needed
- Heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Equipment safety.
- Familiar with Topcon GPS machine control.
- Civil plan reading skills preferred.
- Grading and site prep experience for commercial and residential construction.
- Client relations.
- Team building.
- Effective verbal and listening skills.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with less than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Hours

Salary
$55,000+ (based upon experience)

Local construction/grading company seeks construction laborers for full time positions. All applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work and must be able to pass a drug test. Competitive pay based on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Using pipe laser and shovel to assist excavator in laying storm drain pipe
- Mixing mortar and using masonry to seal up storm structures and adjust heights
- Planting grass and installing straw matting
- Installing silt fence
- Plumbing for roof drain connections
- Work in backfill operations using shovel, gas powered rammer, and operating remote control trench compactor
- Set up/take down of traffic control
- Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools
Requirements
- Must be reliable and can provide excellent attendance
- Willing to work and learn
- Drug-free
- 18 years of age or older
- Legally eligible to work in the US
- Must have excellent attendance
- Previous experience is preferred but NOT required
