Earth Hauling
Commercial Hauling Services
Reliable transportation of construction materials, debris, and equipment for commercial and industrial projects.
Serving Anderson, Laurens, Pickens, Greenville, and Spartanburg Counties
The Right Material, in the Right Place, at the Right Time
Even the best-planned construction project stalls without reliable hauling. Fill material that fails to arrive on schedule, excavated spoils that pile up and slow earthwork, or debris that sits on-site and creates safety and compliance headaches—these are the kinds of problems that cost time and money and throw off timelines.
As part of our comprehensive site preparation services, Collins Hammett Construction provides hauling services built around one priority: keeping your project moving. Our fleet of well-maintained vehicles and experienced drivers handles the transportation of construction materials, debris, and equipment with the reliability and professionalism your commercial project demands.

Why Reliable Hauling Is Critical to Your Project
Hauling is not just a logistics function but an active part of your construction workflow. Earthmoving and grading generate significant volumes of material that have to go somewhere. Site preparation requires fill, aggregate, and other materials to arrive in sequence with the work being performed. Equipment has to be moved safely and on schedule to keep operations running without gaps.
When hauling is unreliable, the effects are felt across every trade on your job site. Delays compound, crews wait, and schedules slip. When hauling is handled by an experienced team that understands construction sequencing and site operations, it becomes one less variable to worry about—and one more part of your project running the way it should.
Our Hauling Services
We provide hauling as part of an integrated site preparation process, coordinating material transport directly with earthmoving, grading, and other on-site operations to maintain efficient workflow throughout your project. Our capabilities include:
Excavated Material and Spoils Removal
Timely off-site hauling of excavated soil, rock, and other spoils generated during mass excavation, structural excavation, and grading operations—keeping your site clear and on schedule.
Fill and Aggregate Delivery
Transportation and delivery of fill dirt, select fill, aggregate base, and other materials required to build up your site, support paving operations, or meet engineered subgrade specifications.
Construction Debris Removal
Removal and disposal of construction debris, demolition waste, and site cleanup materials to maintain a safe, organized job site throughout the course of your project.
Equipment Transport
Safe and secure movement of construction equipment to and from your project site, handled by drivers who understand the logistical demands of active commercial job sites.
Material Staging and Coordination
Coordinated hauling schedules that align material delivery and removal with your project's construction sequence, reducing congestion, minimizing double-handling, and keeping operations running efficiently.
On-Site Processing and Storage
Where excavated and demolished materials go is a question central to both project economics and environmental responsibility. At Collins Hammett, the answer is straightforward: materials come to our own facility, where they are processed for reuse or stored for deployment on future projects.
Asphalt is one of the most recycled materials in America. Asphalt removed from our projects is transported to our home base of operations, where it is stockpiled and processed into recycled base material. That crushed asphalt can then be put back to work on future access roads, parking areas, and similar applications. This closed-loop approach eliminates the dual expense of landfill disposal and new material procurement, and it is better for the environment.
Excavated soil and fill dirt are directed to our bar pit—an on-site storage area that functions as a readily accessible material reserve. Maintaining an on-hand supply of quality fill is a significant operational advantage. It eliminates sourcing delays, reduces dependence on external suppliers, and allows us to respond efficiently when land grading, elevation correction, or site leveling needs arise mid-project. For our clients, that translates directly into faster turnarounds and fewer disruptions when site conditions require material on short notice, as well as potential cost savings.
